1. Production process difference:
The base paper of coated art paper is single layer structure,while coated art board has multi-layer structure.
2. Paper properties difference:
The coated art paper focus on medium and low weight while coated art board is medium and high gram.
The coated art paper mainly used in cultural paper(like book,calendars,etc.),it needs high requirement on surface properties,such as whiteness, gloss,smoothness and so on.
For coated art board, it’s normally used on packaging material(like hang tag,book cover,name card,etc.),which focus on the bulk and stiffness.
